Scriptum super Isagoge Porphyrii
- In the absence of precise references regarding the dating of the work, we limit ourselves to reporting the period of activity of Iacobus de Placentia.
- According to Kuksewicz, it is possible that the text reported by redactio B (Padova, Biblioteca Antoniana, Manoscritti 391) represents a reworking of another author of Iacobus de Placentia’s original text (Kuksewicz 1963: 212) – redactio B corresponds to Venezia, Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, lat. VI. 97 (2594).
- The two witnesses exhibit several differences. Redactio B lacks the introduction found in redactio A. Moreover, the quaestiones accompanying the commentary differ in the two versions (Kuksewicz 1963:212).
