Our research team member, Jacopo Lohs, will soon publish with Aracne, in the Flumen sapientiae series, a critical edition titled Le possibilità del conoscere. Intelletto, anima e sostanze separate tra Parigi e Bologna (sec. XIII-XIV).

This critical edition will cover two texts from the Bolognese studium contained in the manuscript of Mantua, Biblioteca Comunale Teresiana 445, ff. 3ra–4ra; 5ra–6rb, and three questions on the De anima by Maino de’ Maineri (Bologna, Biblioteca Universitaria 1625). The edited texts will be preceded by an introductory study focusing specifically on the nature of the relationship between soul and body, and on the problem of the knowability of separate substances between Paris and Bologna (13th–14th centuries).
