The first critical edition of the Bolognese master Gentile da Cingoli’s commentary on the Liber sex principiorum is currently being prepared for publication in the ‘Flumen Sapientiae‘ book series, directed by Irene Zavattero (Università di Trento) and published by Aracne Editore.

The edition, provisionally titled Gentilis de Cingulo, Reportationes super libro sex principiorum, is undertaken by Costantino Marmo (Research Unit Leader for the University of Bologna) and Matteo Stettler (member of the research team for the same university), based on the sole manuscript testimony: ms. Salamanca, Biblioteca General Histórica de la Universidad, 2078.

This critical edition represents one of the upcoming outputs of the research project TeLPh.
